Right now we are looking for an Experienced Noise and Vibration Engineer

Job description & mission
As a person working in the noise and vibration area at Epiroc you will support all its divisions within the NVH field with expertise knowledge and solutions. As the team is a part of the measurement group both experimental and theoretical tasks will be part of the daily work.

Your main responsibility will be to participate in different development projects where you will work with development/R&D and find solutions to problems within the noise and vibration field and perform different kind of tests both in lab and in the field. You will use and develop your practical and theoretical knowledge of how noise and vibrations is generated and transmitted in our products’ complex structures and present it in an understandable way for other engineers. You will also make noise and vibration tests required for international standards (CE) and others.

Experience & knowledge requirements
The person we seek holds a M.Sc. or equivalent with specialization towards Noise and Vibration field preferably with some years of work expertise. Experience from Measurement technique and Structure dynamics is of great advantage. Communicating skills in Swedish is necessary when making tests in the field with the machine operators. Knowledge or specific expertise of Siemens LMS hard- and software, VA-one software or SEA methodology as well as electrical engineering is highly appreciated.
