PLM Solutions are currently looking for Project Managers

PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solutions mission is to provide a stable and reliable PLM environment for Epiroc. PLM´s mission is also to shorten the time to productivity, improve and follow-up business value and deliver right functionality with right quality for the PLM users. We also develop and provide effective training and efficient support. The main PLM applications are Teamcenter, Creo and AutoCAD Electrical and so far it covers both R&D and Production functionality and scope is growing. We deliver right functionality with right quality in a predictive manner to business and PLM Operations by delivering projects on time/cost/scope with a clear hand over process. We have a large roadmap of future projects both with new functionalities, upgrades and improvements as well as migrations and new site roll outs.

As a department, we have grown substantially during the last couple of years and have therefore recently reorganized the department and are now establishing our future internal processes. You will have the chance to influence how we should work with project follow-up etc.

Job description
As project manager within PLM Solutions you will be responsible for executing and implementing PLM projects.

Your overall mission is to drive projects on time, within scope and budget at the right quality. You deliver both to business as well as internally to our operations team. You will work together with different stakeholders from the business as well as internally and other IT organizations. You will report to the PLM Solutions Project Office Manager.

Specific tasks and responsibilities

  • Define the goals, objectives, exclusions, plans & budget for the complete project together with the project team.
  • You will create project activity and resource plans.
  • You will execute feasibility and implementation projects and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • You will support the business on creating business cases and ROI analysis
  • You will ensure internal processes and standards are followed within your projects
  • You will manage and lead project teams which partly are located off-site
  • Motivate and encourage your project team so that the highest possible level of performance and quality are achieved.

 

Experience & knowledge requirements
You have a University degree, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering. You should be a good planner and organizer, including resource planning and also have the ability to lead and coach your project team to deliver according to plan.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. It is important that you can work with transparent follow up on a daily basis, as you should communicate both within the project as well as outside of project. For us, it is important that you have proven IT development project manager experience as well as have experience of multi-cultural project teams, where parts are located off-site. This job requires you to have fluent English skills since English is our primary language within Epiroc. Additionally, Swedish skills are also desired.

To succeed in this position we believe you are a team player that sees the team’s contribution as the ultimate goal. Additionally, you should be a self-going and communicative person that has natural leader instincts with drive and independence.

 

Preferred but not required

  • Good knowledge of and interest in the PLM domain
  • Decent knowledge of the Mining and Rock Excavation Business Area in its broadest sense or similar manufacturing businesses
  • Knowledge of the Epiroc organization and processes in a broad sense
