Epiroc IT are currently seeking a driven individual with a can-do attitude to be part of our future organization. You will be responsible for globally provided Hosting services including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, On-premise and External datacenters in different time zones.

Job description
As IT Hosting Manager you will work both strategic and operative. You will be responsible to establish and operate the future operations organization. Deliver world class services to the business that are geographically spread equally around the globe. Short term mission is to work closely with Atlas Copco IT-Services during transition, where Atlas Copco IT-Services still deliver operations and where you will be responsible to build and operate the future target organization when TSA schedule ends. You will report to Global Infrastructure Manager IT, Epiroc IT.

Mission

• Establish positive and supporting attitude within the Service Area
• Establish guidelines to support business identifying best option for hosting, considering IT strategy, regional location, functional and non-functional requirements
• Establish guidelines and routines for Hosting including Backup/Restore, Data retention, and High availability for all variants of services provided.
• Optimize or change existing solution(s) in line with Epiroc IT strategy and security policy.
• Implement and operate:
  • Global virtual team
  • Support organization, processes, routines, tools and agreements to ensure operations in all regions –One way of working.
  • Team prepared to take global action on short notice.
  • Transparent service cost management
• Tools and processes to manage operations including data shall be common and owned by Epiroc IT
• Take active part in Change project(s)
• Limit number of manual processes and routines in favor of automatization or self-service
• Keep it simple attitude (all aspects, like Hardware, platforms and support processes)
• Ensure global adoption of routines and guidelines
• Always have data security in mind
• Work close with other Service Area owners to optimize IT services efficiency and end-user experience
• Safeguard delivery during Atlas Copco split.

Experience requirements

• Management of virtual teams
• Staff liability
• Related Service Catalogue management
• Minimum 5 year working experience providing SLA based service globally
• Excellent understanding of governance and operations for cloud based services
• Minimum 10 year experience from On-Premise-/External Datacenter operations
• Working experience from Hybrid-Cloud global setup
• Working with a multinational organization
• Excellent understanding of IT technical components and processes
• Business processes understanding
• Well organized and able to operate independently in line with guidelines

Knowledge / Educational requirements
     Must

• Managing large IT change projects
• University degree in relevant fields or similar competence developed through working experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Passionate about your field of expertise and your customers
• Highly motivated and result oriented

Personality
The job requires a lot of collaboration both internally and externally so good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite to be successful in the role.

A proactive personality is desired, with a capacity to deliver in line with expectations and objectives as the work is conducted with full responsibility and flexibility within given frames.

We also expect you to be well structured, service minded and adaptable to change. You should also have good strong leadership, analytical and administrations skills as they are vital for this role.

You must be able to travel international minimum 20 days/year.

Sweden, Örebro or Stockholm

If not based in Örebro, travel to Örebro 1-2 days per week will be needed.

Company presentation
Atlas Copco's Board of Directors announced in January 2017 that it will initiate work in order to propose to the Annual General Meeting in 2018, to decide on a split of Atlas Copco into two parts. Atlas Copco will focus on industry and Epiroc will focus on mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries.

The current Mining and Rock Excavation business area – core of the future Epiroc - provides equipment for drilling and rock excavation, a complete range of related consumables and service through a global network.
