Job description

Rocktec Automation is now looking for a Quality and Product Support Engineer. You will work with quality and maintenance of our products. You are responsible for the quality assurance of RCS components and drives quality improvement initiatives both with our suppliers and internally towards our divisions within MR.

You will be an important team player in this mission together with the teams for Hardware, Software and Purchasing.

Work tasks:

  • Follow up, initiate improvements and handle quality related issues with our suppliers and divisions.
  • Follow up and report relevant scorecards for quality.
  • Work in the MS portal to maintain the development process.
  • Participate in audits and evaluation of new suppliers.

Education, Knowledge and Experience

We are looking for a candidate who have some years of experience of design and or quality within electronics with a BSc in electronic engineering or equal. Preferably you have experience in control systems, knowledge within electronic design and quality work with heavy vehicles is meritorious. English is the corporate language. Your contacts both internal and external will be many so a very good command of English both orally and in writing, is required.

To succeed in this position you should be driven and like new challenges. You are a team player with a desire to contribute to the quality work within Rocktec Automation, challenged by finding solutions to upcoming issues. You have a positive attitude and work proactively while you are a good problem solver. You will handle both internal and external contacts in your daily work so you should have great communication skills and enjoy working with other people whether it is customers, contacts in the organization or members of the team.
